APP — Alza Commerce App
Alza Commerce App
Analytics for Amazon sellers in Mexico, developed and operated by Alza Commerce S.A.S.
What Alza Commerce App is
Alza Commerce App is the software Alza Commerce S.A.S. uses to analyze an Amazon seller’s own account on Amazon.com.mx and turn that analysis into specific recommendations for that same seller.
The seller connects the app from Seller Central through Amazon’s authorization process for the Selling Partner API. We never ask for the seller’s Seller Central password, and the seller can revoke the authorization at any time from Seller Central.
Who it is for: sellers on Amazon.com.mx (Mexico). Search term analytics require the seller to be enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry.
Analytical services
Every analysis covers only the authorizing seller’s own account and own products.
1. Traffic and conversion analytics (Brand Analytics). From the Sales and Traffic report we read, by day and by product (child ASIN), the sessions, page views, units ordered and ordered product sales of the seller’s own products. With that data the app:
- Alerts the seller when sessions or conversion of a product drop against that product’s own recent baseline.
- Distinguishes “shoppers are not seeing the product” from “shoppers see it but do not buy it”, so the seller knows whether to work on visibility (advertising) or on the product detail page (content and price).
- Uses each product’s sessions and conversion to recommend which products are ready to be advertised and which should be fixed first.
If Amazon does not provide this report for an account, these features stay off for that account.
2. Search term analytics (in development). For brand-registered sellers we are building an analysis of Brand Analytics search data (Search Query Performance and Search Terms reports) for the seller’s own brand, to identify search terms where the seller’s products receive impressions but few clicks or purchases, and to recommend keywords for that seller’s own listings. It is not available yet. Search data is used only to advise the seller who authorized it; we do not compile, resell or publish search term data.
3. Price and Buy Box analysis. Competitive offers and Buy Box status for the seller’s own products, and Amazon fee estimates at candidate prices, to calculate the real margin per product. Price recommendations never go below the minimum price the seller declares, and no price change is proposed until the seller has declared one.
4. Inventory and restock. Sales velocity, days of coverage, restock suggestions, and stranded or excess FBA inventory. Orders are read without any buyer information.
5. Returns analysis. Return rate and recurring return reasons per product, from the FBA customer returns report.
6. Profitability. Amazon fees, refunds and settlements per product, compared against expected fees.
7. Listing content review. Images, titles, bullet points and descriptions that are missing or can be improved.
8. Account health. The metrics Amazon uses to evaluate the account, with an alert when one approaches a risk threshold.
9. Advertising performance. Which campaigns and keywords sell and which spend without selling. This requires a separate Amazon Ads authorization from the seller.
How the seller receives the analysis
- In a private client portal, by invitation only. Each seller sees only their own account.
- In a weekly written report: what was found, what was done, and the result measured in the seller’s account.
- The seller chooses the level of control. By default nothing is changed in the seller’s account without the seller’s approval; the seller can instead allow routine changes within limits they define (for example, a minimum price or an advertising budget cap). Every action is logged.
How we use Amazon data
- Each seller’s data is used only to provide analysis and services to that same seller.
- We do not aggregate data across sellers, and we do not provide, sell or share one seller’s data or analysis with any other seller or third party.
- We do not publish, share or use insights about Amazon’s own business. Our analysis is limited to the authorizing seller’s own account and products.
- We do not request or store buyers’ personal information (names, addresses, emails or phone numbers).
- Data is stored encrypted. Our service providers, retention periods and deletion process are described in our Privacy Notice (in Spanish).
- When a seller revokes the authorization, we stop accessing the account and delete the data as described in the Privacy Notice.
Privacy summary
A summary in English of our Privacy Notice (the full notice is in Spanish).
- What we collect. From the seller: name, email, phone and billing details. From the seller’s Amazon account, only through Amazon’s APIs and after the seller authorizes it: catalog and listing content, prices and offers, inventory, orders (without buyer information), fees and financial events, and sales, traffic and returns reports. Advertising data only with a separate Amazon Ads authorization.
- How we use it. To analyze the seller’s account and deliver the diagnostics, reports and recommendations; to handle the seller’s requests; to communicate with the seller; for billing; and for platform security.
- Where and how it is stored. In Amazon Web Services data centers in the United States. The database is encrypted at rest with our own key and is not reachable from the internet; report files are kept in encrypted storage with public access blocked; all traffic uses HTTPS.
- How it is protected. Row-level isolation between clients in the database; Amazon credentials kept in an encrypted secrets store, separated per client and never in our code or logs; every credential access is logged; and an append-only audit log.
- Who it is shared with. No one, except service providers that process it on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (infrastructure), Clerk (sign-in to the client portal; it receives the portal user’s name and email, not Amazon data) and Anthropic (a language model that, when enabled, drafts Spanish replies in the client portal chat; it receives only already-computed data, no credentials and no buyer personal data, and cannot act on the account). We also disclose data when a competent authority requires it by law.
- How it is deleted. Revoking the authorization in Seller Central ends our access immediately. When the relationship ends, we delete or anonymize the seller’s operational data within 20 business days, sooner on request.
Pricing
Alza Commerce App has no cost for sellers during its current early-access period. Before any fee applies, the seller receives the terms in writing and decides whether to continue. Disconnecting the app has no cost.
